I had a truly unique experience staying at this converted train station. The garden platform with plants, art, and roaming chickens added to the charm. The rooms were characterful and functional, with comfortable beds and writing desks. Graham, the host, was welcoming and made me feel at home. The tea, coffee, and treats provided were a nice touch. The value for money was excellent.

My stay at the Dalmally Railway Station was absolutely delightful! The communication with the host, Graham, was excellent. The location, nestled in the beautiful Highlands, made for a stunning drive. The B&B itself was small and cozy, with a warm and quiet atmosphere. The hot pot and wide selection of hot beverages were a lovely touch, along with the biscuits and chocolates. The quirky charm of the converted railway station added to the overall experience. I highly recommend stopping at "the George" in Inverrary if you're in the area.
Although the shared bathroom and external toilet didn't bother me, it might be a drawback for some. Additionally, the mattress in my room was a bit hard, but the other beds in the family room were comfortable.
